What to expect

  1. 15m
    The Iconic Crunch (Buñuelos)

Kick off your culinary adventure at a legendary neighborhood bakery. You'll taste a freshly fried buñuelo—a crispy, golden, savory-sweet dough ball made with local cheese. It's the ultimate Colombian comfort food and pairs perfectly with a morning breeze.
  2. 20m
    The Wrapped Tradition (Tamal Antioqueño)

Dive deep into regional history with a traditional Colombian tamal. Slow-cooked for hours inside a plantain leaf, this rich corn dough is packed with meats and vegetables, absorbing incredible smoky flavors. It’s a hearty masterpiece usually reserved for family Sundays.
  3. 20m
The Sweet & Savory Twist (Arepa de Queso con Lechera)

Time for a sweet and savory revelation. We'll try a thick, grilled sweet-corn arepa oozing with melted local cheese and drizzled with lechera (sweetened condensed milk). It’s a flavor combination that completely surprises and delights international travelers.
  4. 15m
The Golden Standard (Empanada de Carne)

You haven't been to Medellín until you've eaten a proper street empanada. We’ll stop at a local favorite for a piping hot, crispy corn-crust empanada stuffed with perfectly seasoned beef and potatoes. Top it with fresh home-made ají (local salsa) for the perfect kick.
  5. 20m
    The Modern Comfort (Papas Balvin)

Named after Medellín’s own global superstar, this stop brings a modern, loaded twist to the street food scene. Dig into a mountain of crispy french fries loaded with melted cheese, crispy bacon, rich sour cream, and local sauces. It’s a total crowd-pleaser.
  6. 20m
The Tropical Refreshment (Limonada de Coco)

Wash it all down with Colombia’s favorite liquid luxury: a freshly blended limonada de coco. Creamy coconut milk meets tart lime juice and ice for an ultra-refreshing, velvety drink that will make you instantly fall in love with tropical Colombian summers.
