Overview

An expert guide in active and cultural tourism will accompany you on an immersive experience in one of the most evocative towns in Gallura. Short walks in the village and in nature alternate with equally short minivan transfers. A small journey to discover the village of Luogosanto, its picturesque territory, its monuments and its traditions. A corner of Sardinia a few kilometers from the sea, which still retains the spirit that has united its community for centuries. At the end of the short but intense journey it is possible, upon reservation, to have an aperitif or a Brunch at the Divinum/Bottega dei Sapori, a picturesque wine lounge with a panoramic terrace located in the cellars of an ancient building in the historic centre.

What to expect

  1. 30m
The Church, with its Holy Door, is the most important place of worship in all of Gallura. The Manna Festival is dedicated to the Virgin Child, in which thousands of people participate every year. Depending on the availability of volunteers it is possible to visit the Diocesan Museum. The historic center of the town develops around the Church, with the typical monumental buildings made entirely of granite, to be discovered with a short walk.
  2. Capanna delle Riunioni e Complesso Nuragico Monti Casteddu
    45m
A short walk through the woods and granites that surround the three peaks of Luogosanto takes us to discover the Capanna delle Riunioni, the heart of the ancient Nuragic village that stood on these lush hills. A dreamlike atmosphere animates the forest, with its fantastically shaped rocks and many spectacular panoramic views
  3. 30m
A few minutes from the town, the ruins of the medieval palace that belonged to the ancient Visconti family tell a story rich in relationships between the small village of Gallura and the rest of the Mediterranean. The site is surrounded by centuries-old trees, granite rocks with the most fantastic shapes and the remains of the various buildings that surrounded the stately palace.
  4. 30m
The small church of Santo Stefano is representative of the many small country churches that dot Gallura and the territory of Luogosanto in particular. Small jewels that today, like centuries ago, keep the traditions and communities of the area alive.
  5. 45m
One of the most representative places in the area. The ancient hermitage, built by the Franciscan friars centuries ago, is set in a unique place for its views and the peaceful atmosphere that can be felt.
