Another exciting adventure option is a visit to Moon Canyon. After a short drive to a grassy field, guests will begin a scenic hike along a winding path over rocks and boulders. The trail continues around trees, across logs, and over the creek as you make your way past a small dam.

Guests will navigate around giant boulders to reach a geologically unique area where the creek bed is formed from rock and sand compressed together over thousands of years. This is a great place to play in the creek, explore, take photos, or enjoy a snack surrounded by the beauty of the canyon.

Another attraction guests may choose to explore is the Victory Mine, the largest mine on the property. Guests are welcome to venture inside, but please be aware that mines can present hazards such as uneven footing, dark surroundings, and old ladders. Wear sturdy, appropriate clothing and shoes, and bring proper gear, including a headlamp and backup flashlight.

For a more in-depth experience, we offer a guided mine tour that explores the mine’s rooms, artifacts, and fascinating mining history. This approximately 3-hour tour is separate from the Day Pass.
