Overview
Staying at the Dead Sea and want to see Petra? This private day trip picks you up from your Dead Sea hotel, so there is no need to go back to Amman first. Only your group travels in the car, with an English-speaking driver, and you explore Petra at your own pace.
Walk through the Siq to the Treasury, see the Royal Tombs and the theatre, and if you have the energy, climb to the Monastery. Your driver waits at the visitor center and brings you back to your hotel in the evening.
The car has air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and bottled water. Petra tickets are not included: buy them at the gate or use your Jordan Pass.

After a scenic 2.5-hour drive from the Dead Sea, explore Petra at your own pace. Walk through the narrow Siq canyon to the famous Treasury (Al-Khazneh), then continue past the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and the theatre. Fit travelers can climb about 800 steps to the Monastery (Ad-Deir). Your driver waits at the visitor center and takes you back to your Dead Sea hotel.
