    Discover Materuni Village, home of the Chagga people, in the beautiful foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located about 15 km from Moshi, this authentic village is surrounded by lush coffee plantations, tropical vegetation, and stunning mountain scenery.

    Your experience begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. On arrival, you will register at the village office and meet your local guide before starting the walk to Materuni Waterfalls.
    The hike takes about 40 minutes, with your guide sharing stories about Chagga culture, village life, local plants, and the surrounding environment. At the waterfall, admire the impressive cascade of more than 80 meters and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings. If conditions allow, you can take a refreshing swim in the natural pool, so bring your swimwear.
    On clear days, you may also enjoy views of Mount Kilimanjaro. This experience combines culture, hiking, nature, waterfalls, and unforgettable Tanzanian scenery.
