What to expect

Day 1: Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ben Tre – Chau Doc (Lunch )

    Departing around 7:10 AM from Dragon Sea Travel office (243 De Tham Street, Ho Chi Minh City), we journey towards the enchanting Mekong Delta region. Enjoy the scenic view and green rice paddies during the 1.5-hour air-conditioned bus ride. Along the way, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta.
    Continue to My Tho, where we take a boat trip along the Mekong River, viewing fish cages and floating houses from the motorboat. Experience a serene journey on a small hand-rowing boat, the main transportation in My Tho and Ben Tre. Cruise through a peaceful creek with overhanging coconut trees, observing local life away from the town's hustle and bustle.

    Disembark at a coconut island in Ben Tre to join a hands-on workshop, learn how coconut candies are crafted, and enjoy sweet samples. Stroll around the village to absorb its charming local atmosphere.
    Continue the river expedition to Thoi Son (Unicorn Island). Hop on an electric cart or motor car to reach a performance site for traditional music (Dan Ca Tai Tu) while savoring seasonal tropical fruits.
    Visit a bee farm to sample fresh honey tea and see a typical Mekong home. Around 12:30 PM, enjoy lunch with local Vietnamese specialties under the trees. Afterwards, relax, explore the village, or take a short bike ride before returning.

    Later, take a ferry and continue by private car ( No Guide ) to Chau Doc, a vibrant town in the heart of the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, freshen up, and enjoy some time to relax.

    At 6:30 PM, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant at your own expense. After dinner, the evening is free for you to explore Chau Doc at your own pace. Take a leisurely stroll through the local market, experience the town’s lively atmosphere, or simply relax and enjoy your evening.

Day 2: CHAU DOC - BORDER CROSSING - PHNOM PENH BY BOAT(Breakfast)

    6:45 AM: Car transfer to Chau Doc Tourist Harbour.

    7:00 AM: Fast boat departs from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh, arriving around 1:00 PM. Tour ends.
