Attention all nature lovers and star enthusiasts! We invite you to join us in the breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful wilderness of Wildhills at Kodachadri Forest. This unique and stunning location is one of the few remaining dark zones with zero light pollution, making it the perfect place for a night of star gazing.
Plan to arrive in the afternoon and explore the forest trails. We will have an early dinner and convene outside to view the night skies. We offer loungers in the forest clearing for comfortable viewing. You can see quite a few stars, planets, constellations, and the Milky Way with your naked eye. We do have small telescopes and binoculars for the community that will be shared. Do bring your own telescopes for a better experience.
Our guests have been able to view in detail Jupiter's Great Red Spot, Saturn's Rings, Galilean Moons of Jupiter, Sirius, Craters on the moon's surface & Orion's Nebula with their telescope. We also often spot shooting stars in the clear night sky.
The star gazing activity can go on till the wee hours of the morning. We do have a free breakfast as part of this tour. You can then continue to explore the forest before you head back.
