What to expect

  1. Valley of the Kings
    2h · Admission ticket included
Your day begins with pickup from your Luxor hotel by our professional Egyptologist guide. Cross the Nile to the West Bank, where your exploration of the Theban Necropolis begins. The Valley of the Kings is home to the tombs of more than 60 New Kingdom pharaohs, including powerful rulers like Ramses II, Seti I, and the boy king Tutankhamun.

Delve into three handpicked tombs (included in your ticket), admiring vivid wall paintings that depict scenes of the afterlife, sacred rituals, and the journey to immortality. For those interested in visiting the famous Tomb of Tutankhamun, access is available for an additional fee. Your guide will share intriguing facts about burial customs, mummification, and the discovery of these incredible sites.
  2. Temple of Hatshepsut
    1h 30m · Admission ticket included
Next, you'll head to the dramatic cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, where the awe-inspiring Temple of Hatshepsut rises in harmony with the surrounding mountains. This unique structure was commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt's few and most successful female pharaohs.

Explore the temple's three levels, connected by long ramps and adorned with beautiful reliefs detailing Hatshepsut's divine birth and trading expeditions to the land of Punt. Learn how she portrayed herself as a male ruler to legitimize her reign and how her legacy was almost erased by her successors.
  3. Colossi of Memnon
    30m
On your return to Luxor, make a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic stone statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These statues once flanked the entrance of a grand mortuary temple that has mostly vanished over time. Standing at over 20 meters tall, the Colossi have become iconic symbols of Luxor’s western bank.

As you wrap up your tour, enjoy insights from your guide into the history, legends, and mysteries of this ancient land. You'll be transported back to your hotel filled with memories of an extraordinary journey into the heart of Egypt's golden age.
