Overview

Your private culinary experience starts with a visit to a local market. As the stalls come to life for the day, explore the ingredients central to Spanish cooking and pick up fresh produce for the dishes ahead. Your guide shares insights into how Madrileños shop, snack, and select quality ingredients, offering context that enriches the dishes you’ll later prepare.

A short walk leads you to a contemporary restaurant kitchen set aside exclusively for your group where you'll meet your chef and enjoy an aperitivo.

Then it’s time to cook. Learn the techniques behind the Spanish tapas, from patatas bravas with two homemade sauces to fried croquetas. Your chef guides you step by step through preparing an authentic paella Valenciana.

Once everything is ready, gather around the table for a generous three-course lunch paired with wine or beer. Seasonal fruit from the market is a refreshing end to your lunch. You’ll leave with skills, memories, and the recipes to recreate at home.
