Enjoy your amazing game drive experience and go away from the crowds of the northern safari zone to discover the best wildlife safari site. The largest national park in Africa, the Nyerere National Park (Selous), appears to be larger than Switzerland. Its abundance of wild creatures and variety of bird species will astound you.
In addition to lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, hippos, impala, hartebeests, pythons, and elands, this area is home to the rarest wild dogs in the world—a sight that is only achievable for the extremely fortunate. In contrast to Tanzania's northern regions, where domesticated animals and birds are more tranquil, the animals in this region are more jittery.
