What to expect

Ugly Duckling Wines
45m · Admission ticket included

The family moved to the Swan Valley in 1996 and sold grapes to local wineries over the years. In 2007 they decided to produce their own wine and label. And so Ugly Duckling Wines was formed.

When the family first moved to the Swan Valley, they lived in the rustic cottage at the front of the property for seven years. In 2010 the back of the cottage was demolished and in early 2011 their cellar door began. Their first vintage produced approximately 3500 bottles of shiraz and 4000 bottles of chardonnay. Since then, they have been expanding their premium range.

We will spend around thirty to forty five minutes here allowing you to enjoy some wine tasting and stretch the paws around the garden and along the side of the vineyard. For those with a sweet tooth, an ice cream shop is on site for those wishing to purchase a sweet treat. Then it’s all back on board Bernie to our second venue.
