Full day Hiking Gran Canaria Peaks of Gran Canaria

The route crosses the mountainous landscapes of central Gran Canaria, near Pico de las Nieves (1949 m a.s.l.). It is a unique tour that allows you to discover the wild beauty of the island, enjoy the mountain atmosphere, and contemplate spectacular panoramas of the surrounding sierras and the ocean. Along the way, you can admire extensive Canary pine forests, rugged mountainous landscapes, and the impressive silhouette of Roque Nublo, one of the island's most recognizable symbols. If the weather conditions are favorable, views of the east and south coasts of Gran Canaria, as well as of the majestic volcano Pico del Teide (3718 m a.s.l.), located on the neighboring island of Tenerife, can also be seen from the trail. It is an ideal option for lovers of the mountains, nature, and unforgettable landscapes who wish to discover one of the most picturesque areas of the island.

Distance: 10 km approx 4.5h (Monday), 7 km approx 3.5h (Sunday and Wednesday)

From May 15 to September 30, the "Cumbres de Gran Canaria" route will take place with the following characteristics: Distance: approx. 7km, Elevation gain: 250 - 300m, Time: approx. 3.5h

• In the period from April to September, rainfall is low, the temperature even in the highest part of the mountains is around 22 degrees, reaching up to 26 degrees in June, July and August. The T-shirt usually fits us well, but it is always good to wear long-sleeved clothing.
• The months of October to March are a variable period of time and more frequent rains (we always try to avoid carrying out our excursions during rainy days, but sometimes the weather can surprise us). It is recommended (during the mandatory cold days) warm clothing with long sleeves (pants, polartec) and a waterproof jacket that can work perfectly as a windbreaker.
• In case of force majeure, including adverse weather conditions, extreme temperatures, risk of wildfires, or any other circumstance that prevents the trip from continuing safely or poses a risk to the health or safety of the participants, the organizer reserves the right to modify the itinerary, reschedule the trip for another date, or cancel it.
• Recommended minimum age for children: 8 years.
• Considering that our lunch at the restaurant will be around 2:30 PM and your own eating habits, you can bring a light meal on your own, for example (fruit, energy bars, almonds, cookies, etc.). sandwich, etc.)
