Overview
Tanzania’s northern safari circuit is anchored by three world-renowned wildlife destinations, each offering a distinct African landscape. Tarangire National Park serves as the dramatic entry point, famous for its prehistoric, elephant-sculpted baobab forests and massive herds of migratory elephants that congregate along the Tarangire River. Moving further northwest, the Ngorongoro Crater provides a breathtaking natural theater; it is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, Beyond the crater rim lies the legendary Serengeti National Park, an endless expanse of classic African savanna that hosts the Great Wildebeest Migration, offering the ultimate arena for witnessing raw predator-prey action on a massive scale.
