Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park

Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, followed by transfer to the SGR train station for the 6:00 AM train to Morogoro, arriving at 7:45 AM. Meet your safari driver-guide and continue to Mikumi National Park with arrival at around 10:00 AM. Enjoy a game drive across the park’s open plains while searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and other wildlife. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive until sunset, then proceed to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive & Return to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, depart for another exciting game drive in Mikumi National Park, exploring different sections of the park and increasing your chances of spotting more wildlife and bird species. Enjoy lunch before departing at around 3:00 PM for Morogoro to connect with the 7:25 PM SGR train back to Dar es Salaam, arriving at approximately 9:10 PM.
