Overview

Today, you’ll start your day with an early morning game drive after a hearty breakfast. You’ll descend into the crater, home to nearly every species of wildlife native to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. This crater boasts the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet, featuring a river, multiple swamps, and a soda lake that, from above, appears to emit steam, teeming with flamingos. There’s also a forest and expansive open plains. The massive bull elephants here are known for their exceptionally large tusks, a result of the rich mineral content in the volcanic soil and grasses. After an exciting 5-hour game drive, you’ll head to Arusha, marking the end of your safari adventure.

What to expect

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
  1. Tarangire National Park
    6h
Get ready for an unforgettable safari adventure! After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its impressive elephant herds and iconic ancient Baobab trees—the largest trees on the African continent—this park offers a truly unique experience. From the open-roof vehicle, we'll have the chance to observe the park's diverse ecosystems, including seasonal swamps, vast savannas, and the Tarangire River, which is teeming with wildlife. You can expect to see a rich variety of animals, such as giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and, of course, elephants. The park's rich birdlife adds to the beauty of the surroundings. We’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot with a breathtaking view before continuing our game drive. Afterward, we’ll head to Farm of Dreams, where you can unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by a peaceful overnight stay.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
  1. Serengeti National Park
    6h
After breakfast, we will begin our journey to the Serengeti. The drive, lasting approximately 4-5 hours, will take us through a bumpy yet exciting route, ascending the crater highlands and leading us to the expansive plains of Serengeti. Along the way, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch before entering the park for an afternoon game drive. After enjoying the sunset, we will head to Misako Luxury Camp & Lodges for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
  1. Serengeti National Park
    7h
We’ll begin the day early, around 6 am, for a sunrise game drive to catch the animals at their most active. Afterward, we’ll stop at a scenic picnic spot to enjoy breakfast in the bush before continuing the game drive. By noon, we’ll return to camp for a hot lunch. Afterward, we’ll load the vehicle, depart, and head towards Ngorongoro. We’ll have dinner and spend the night at the Farm of Dreams.
