What to expect

Day 1: Living culture in Ausangate and Astrotourism
  1. Cusco
    Pass by
We begin this adventure by picking up each traveler in their accommodation in Cusco. The journey will take us to the province of Quispicanchi, crossing valleys and Andean mountains. During the trip, you will enjoy breathtaking natural views as we head to our first stop: Andamayo.
  2. 3h
In this high Andean community we will live an authentic experience of experiential tourism. Villagers will show us their daily lives: cow milking, artisan cheese production, cucumber raising and other countryside tasks. We will share your hospitality and then enjoy a traditional breakfast prepared with local products.
  3. Laguna Singrenacocha
    7h · Admission ticket included
Upon arrival in Yanacancha, we will be greeted with music and dances typical of the area. Here we will know the agricultural work of the commoners, participating in their daily activities. This direct interaction allows us to value their way of life and generate an authentic and meaningful cultural exchange.

On the shores of this beautiful turquoise lagoon, located at the foot of the snowy Ausangate, we will perform an Andean ritual of thanks to the Mamacocha. Surrounded by llamas and alpacas, we will enjoy an impressive natural environment, ideal for contemplation, photography and spiritual connection with nature.

We will taste a delicious lunch prepared by the community, with typical ingredients and direct view of the lagoon. This moment offers a restful break and the opportunity to enjoy local cuisine in a unique natural setting.
  4. 2h · Admission ticket included
After lunch we head to the village of Pacchanta, where we will stay in comfortable and cozy cottages. Here you will have the option to relax in the natural thermal baths of the area (optional), ideal to relieve the body after a full day of activity.
  5. 2h
After dinner, comes one of the most special moments: astronomical observation in one of the cleanest skies in the Andes. With the expert guide, you will know the dark constellations according to the Quechua worldview, such as the fox, the flame or the snake, projected on the Milky Way.
Day 2: Hike to the 7 lagoons of Ausangate and return to Cusco
  1. 1h · Admission ticket included
We will start the day with a nutritious Andean breakfast to prepare for the hike. In addition, we will visit the interpretation center where we will learn about alpaca puddle (dehydrated meat) and karmu, a traditional food that we will bring as a snack for the day.
  2. 4h · Admission ticket included
We will hike for approximately 4 hours on one of the most impressive natural circuits in the region: the 7 lagoons of Ausangate. Each lagoon stands out for its color, shape and energy. The landscape, dominated by mountains, glaciers and wildlife, offers an unparalleled experience for lovers of trekking and nature.
  3. 2h · Admission ticket included
After the trekking, we return to Pacchanta to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. This will be the time to rest, share impressions with the group and close this cultural, natural and spiritual immersion experience.
  4. Cusco
    3h
We finish the tour by returning to Cusco in our private transport. We will arrive at approximately 18:00 hrs, with a heart full of learnings, memories and landscapes that will remain with you forever.
