What to expect

Day 1: Nairobi To Amboseli National Park 250 km 4-5 hrs drive
  1. Amboseli National Park
    1 day
Today, you will be picked up from the airport or your accommodation in Nairobi by our company representative. After a brief introductory session, you will be handed over to your driver-guide to begin your safari towards Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, you can enjoy the camp's facilities and activities before embarking on your first afternoon game drive, returning to your lodge or hotel at sunset.

Amboseli National Park is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world and the highest peak in Africa at 5,895 meters. The park is also an elephant paradise, where large populations of African savanna elephants roam from swamp to swamp, grazing throughout the day. The observation hill provides stunning views of the mountain peak and the park’s plains and swamps. The varied wildlife in the park includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, wildebeest, buffalo, and many more.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park - Full day
  1. Amboseli National Park
    1 day
Leave the camp after breakfast, carrying your packed lunch to enjoy in the wild. Spend the whole day exploring the marshlands and swamps of Amboseli, which are fed by subterranean water channels. Water is abundant throughout the year, as is the pasture. Elephants and various other herbivores can be found here. After a long day of exploration in this 392 km² park, you will return to the lodge late in the afternoon.

Alternatively, you can start the day with an early morning game drive to search for animals when they are most active. Then return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast and lunch.

During the hottest part of the day, take some time to relax in camp. You can read your favorite book, write in your journal about the safari, or listen to your favorite music while observing the birds. Don’t worry; the animals will be resting too! In the afternoon, head out again at 16:00 for another drive through the park. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha 300km 5-6hrs
  1. Lake Naivasha
    1 day
After enjoying an early breakfast, you will depart from Amboseli National Park and drive towards Nairobi. Along the way, there will be a stop at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant or Tamarind for lunch. Next, you will visit the spectacular Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can stretch your legs and capture photos of the contrasting landscapes, including Mount Longonot and Mount Suswa. Following this, you will continue on to the Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort (or a similar venue).

In the afternoon, you have the option to take a boat ride, offering a refreshing experience as you explore the diverse birdlife and wildlife around the lake. Alternatively, you can choose to relax by the poolside in preparation for a busy day filled with outdoor activities the following day.

Please note that the activities mentioned above are not included in the price and are optional. Payment for these activities should be made directly to the suppliers.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru Via Helsgate National Park
  1. Lake Nakuru National Park
    1 day
Get ready for a day filled with outdoor activities! After breakfast, pack your belongings and head to a nearby animal sanctuary for a walking safari. Alternatively, you can visit Crescent Island, where the animals are less wary of humans, allowing you to take pictures up close.

After exploring the sanctuary, drive to Hell's Gate National Park (Optional). You can choose to cycle, walk, or drive through the park, as it is one of the few national parks that permit these activities. Following this adventure, enjoy lunch before setting off for Lake Nakuru. You will arrive in the late afternoon and have a game drive on your way to your lodge, which is located within the park.
Day 5: Lake nakuru to Masai mara Masai Mara 210 km 4-5hrs drive
  1. Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
1 day · Admission ticket included
After having breakfast, you will begin your first early morning game drive. Despite the early start, morning game drives are incredibly rewarding, as you can spot animals when they are most active. Lake Nakuru is home to flamingos, black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, and the endangered Rothschild's giraffe. The southern end of the lake is the best place to observe wildlife.
Following the game drive, you will exit the park and return to the lodge for lunch (you can choose to carry picnic lunch boxes if you prefer). After lunch, you will drive through the Rift Valley floor to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by Maasai warriors who will escort you on a cultural walking safari, including a visit to a Maasai village to learn more about the community that has coexisted with the Mara wildlife for centuries. You will return later in the day.
Day 6: Masai Mara National Park- Full day
  1. Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
1 day · Admission ticket included
Spend a full day game viewing in the renowned "Eighth Wonder of the Animal World," the Masai Mara. This area is famous for its large herds of plains game, including leopards, cheetahs, and lions, as well as numerous elephants and nearly every other type of wildlife found in Kenya. You will embark on a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve.

For lunch, enjoy a picnic lunch under a flat-top acacia tree in the savannah while watching animals graze nearby. Afterward, continue your game viewing on the way back to your camp, arriving in the late afternoon after thoroughly exploring this vast grassland savannah that spans 1,500 square kilometers.

Additionally, you have the option to book a hot air balloon ride that takes off early in the morning. After landing, the crew will assist you out of the basket and escort you to a beautiful setting for a bush breakfast. This experience is unforgettable and well worth the price.
Day 7: Masai Mara to Jomokenyatta airport Nairobi 250km 4-5hrs drive
  1. Nairobi
    6h
Today after a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred back to Nairobi and proceed to the Carnivore Restaurant for (optional) lunch/dinner. Later, be dropped off at your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport to mark the end of your safari.

Note- If you have a late departure, we can arrange for a visit to the Giraffe Center, home to a towering crew of the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Alternatively visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, a rescue and rehab center for orphaned baby elephants, open to the public for one hour between 11-12 a.m. for viewing mud baths and feeding.

Note- We can also arrange a flight/train from Nairobi to the coastal beaches of Kenya Diani or Mombasa if you wish to extend your trip to Kenya's white sand beaches when booking this trip.
