LA Night Hikers — What to Expect
Join us for a mysterious, alluring, and haunting 3.5-4 mile guided night hike through the historic trails of Griffith Park. Along the way, we’ll explore Los Angeles history, local folklore, ghost stories, unexplained happenings, and perhaps even a little paranormal activity.
The trail is considered a moderate trail, but this is a real hike—not simply a walking tour. Ghost hikers should be comfortable with moderate walking and have a beginner-to-intermediate fitness level. Expect hills, uneven terrain, darkness, and enough movement to break a sweat. Guests should be in good general health and comfortable hiking at a steady pace.
Adults 18 years and older only.
Bring an open mind.
Come ready to hike, hear some haunting stories, discover a darker side of Griffith Park, and experience Los Angeles after the sun disappears.
Hiking shoes or boots with good grip
Flashlight or headlamp
Water bottle — bring extra on warmer evenings
Light jacket or sweater — the hills can get chilly after sunset
Insect repellent
Portable phone charger
Small backpack or fanny pack
Walking (Hiking) stick/s — optional
We had to change our parking location, due to our small ghost tours growing.
For GPS, I recommend entering: “Mineral Wells Picnic Area, Mineral Wells Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90027.” The actual Mineral Wells area is around the intersection of Griffith Park Drive & Mineral Wells Road.
