Day Trip from Dubrovnik: Mostar, Kravica, Ston & Rizman Winery

1. Walls of Ston
   1h
In the charming coastal town of Ston, you’ll step back in time as you explore its impressive medieval walls—some of the longest defensive walls in Europe. Ston is also famous for its centuries-old salt pans and rich oyster farming tradition. Enjoy free time to stroll through the historic stone streets, admire the town’s fortifications, or sample fresh oysters (optional, at your own expense). It's a perfect blend of history, culture, and coastal charm.
2. Rizman
1h · Admission ticket not included
At Rizman Winery, located in the scenic hills of the Komarna region, you'll enjoy stunning panoramic views of the vineyards and Adriatic Sea. This stop offers a relaxing break where you can learn about the region’s winemaking traditions. Guests have the option to take part in a guided wine tasting (paid separately on-site), featuring a selection of premium local wines made from indigenous grape varieties. Light snacks or food pairings may also be available to complement the tasting. It's a perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy a true taste of Dalmatia
3. Mostar
   3h
In the enchanting city of Mostar, you'll experience a fascinating blend of cultures, history, and architecture. Wander freely through the cobbled streets of the Old Town, browse vibrant bazaars filled with traditional crafts, and take in the iconic Old Bridge (Stari Most)—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a powerful symbol of resilience.

With no time restrictions during this stop, you’re free to explore Mostar entirely at your own pace. Enjoy authentic Bosnian cuisine like ćevapi or burek at a local restaurant, or relax with a traditional coffee in one of the charming riverside cafés.

Insider tip: Don’t miss the view from the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque minaret—it offers one of the best panoramic photo spots in the city. You might also catch a local diver jumping from the Old Bridge into the Neretva River, a long-standing tradition in Mostar.

This stop offers the perfect balance of culture, food, and free time in one of the most picturesque towns in the Balkans.
4. Mala Kravica
2h · Admission ticket not included
At the stunning Kravica Waterfalls, you’ll be surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of cascading water—an unforgettable natural oasis. Formed by the Trebižat River, these magnificent waterfalls stretch over 25 meters high and create a breathtaking natural amphitheater, perfect for relaxing, exploring, or taking photos.

You'll have plenty of free time to enjoy the area at your own pace. Stroll along the scenic walking paths, cool off with a refreshing swim in the emerald-green pool beneath the falls (in summer months), or simply relax with a cold drink at one of the nearby cafés.

Insider tip: Bring water shoes if you plan to swim—the rocks can be slippery! And don’t forget your camera—early afternoon light makes for the most magical photos of the falls.

Whether you're looking to unwind in nature, take a dip, or just soak in the views, Kravica offers a peaceful and memorable escape into Bosnia and Herzegovina’s natural beauty.
