Overview

Feel the dunes move beneath you as your professional driver carves a track through the towering sands of the Sahara. This is no straight transfer to camp: it is a proper dune safari, cresting and dropping through Douz's golden dune fields as the sky turns orange. Departing Douz in the late afternoon, the two-hour ride carries you deep into the desert, arriving at camp around sunset. Settle in for an authentic Saharan dinner cooked over the campfire, watch traditional bread being baked under the hot sand, then sleep under a sky full of stars in your own private desert tent. In the morning, watch the sunrise over the dunes before the two-hour drive back to Douz.

Pickup details

Pickup is available from hotels in Douz, or you can meet us at the meeting point. On the day of your tour, our agency will contact you first to arrange your pickup. Your driver-guide will then call you when he arrives at your hotel.
