Day 1: Cape Town to Sedgefield

   Day 1's route & travel time: Sedgefield to Cape Town ± 480km (± 6hrs).
   
   We leave the mother city behind and head east along the N2 past Swellendam, the third oldest town in South Africa to a Private Game Reserve on the edge of the Garden Route.
2. Garden Route

   Our first adventure is a safari game drive where we search for lions, cheetah, hippo, elephants, buffalo and many more wild animals, from the back of an open 4x4 vehicle. Your experienced game ranger will share their fast knowledge of the area and local wildlife.

   After lunch, we head further up along the Garden Route.
   We have some options available for the rest of the day.
   We can either make our way to another Private Game Reserve, Indalu, where you will have the opportunity to join an optional Elephant viewing activity.
   Or we head on through to the beautiful town of Wilderness, lying in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains in a region of incomparable beauty. Here you have the option to either:
   1) Experience a guided fun forest and bush quad bike ride, twisting through trees and around bends, OR
   2) Discover the natural beauty of Kaaimans by enjoying a kayak trip and visit a waterfall.
4. Sedgefield

   We end the day at our accommodation in the small coastal town of Sedgefield, renowned for its diverse and picturesque landscapes, where you have time to sit back, relax and enjoy the African sunset. The town is surrounded by lush forests, serene lakes, and pristine beaches.* Entry into the Boulders Beach colony not included

Day 2: Sedgefield to Cape Town

1. Oudtshoorn

   Day 2's route & travel time: Sedgefield to Cape Town ± 600km (± 7hrs).
   
   This morning we head over the Outeniqua Mountains to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world, situated in the semi-desert Klein Karoo.
2. Cango Caves

   We visit the Cango Caves to go on either their Adventure or Standard Tour through some very large chambers with spectacular limestone formations that are millions of years old. If you chose the Adventure Tour be prepared to start squeezing through some very tight spaces.
3. Cape Town Central

   We begin our journey back to Cape Town along the famous Route 62, taking in the beauty of the mountains, passes and the Karoo plains.
   
   We will drop you off back at your original pick up point in Cape Town unless otherwise requested. There are no set/guaranteed drop-off times. Drop-off times can range from late afternoon to early evening and can vary between ±5 - 8pm.

Pickup details

We can pick-up from any hotel, guesthouse, backpackers or street address within 10km radius of Cape Town City Centre. We will confirm your exact pick-up time with you the day before your trip. Pick-up times normally vary between ±5 - 6am, sometimes earlier depending on the number of guests and pick-up locations that are on tour.

On the last day of the tour we will drop you off back at your original pick-up point in Cape Town unless otherwise requested. There are no set/guaranteed drop-off times. Drop off times can range from late afternoon to evening and normally vary between ±5 - 8pm.

Group/Scheduled tours have no set end time on the last day of the tour so please do not make any scheduled arrangements (especially flights) for the first or last day of the tour, as traffic and weather can delay the approximate pick-up and drop-off times.

• Some meals and drinks are not included. Do check your tour's specific included and excluded section to verify the included meals for your tour. You will have free time scheduled daily to buy and enjoy meals.
• Meals & Dietary Considerations - We offer vegetarian options upon request. If you have any food allergies, please inform prior to your tour/at the time of booking. Please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of more specific special diets (such as lactose intolerant, vegan, gluten-free, halal, etc.). For these specialised needs, please be sure to plan and budget for your own alternative meals/replacements.
• The included activities are of such a nature that anybody on tour can partake in them and are not physically demanding in any way.
• The optional activities, as outlined in the itinerary, are charged additionally and can only be paid while on tour unless otherwise specified. These are optional and are offered as part of each tour’s free-time and are pre-booked by the tour operator or tour guide and you can decide on the first day of the tour if you will be partaking (paid for directly to the supplier on the day).
• Some optional activities require a certain level of fitness.

• Minimum age is 10 years. Children 10 to 18 years old must be accompanied by a suitable or suitably qualified, fare paying adult companion. Children 10 to 18 years old are not allowed in dorm shared rooms - room upgrades will be required.
• This tour requires a minimum number of guests/travellers in order to operate/run. If the tour is cancelled because the minimum was not reached/met, you will be offered a different date or tour, or a full refund.
