Wendy is a ceramicist who’s exhibited her work in Europe and North America, including at the Smithsonian, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barcelona Design Museum and American Craft Council craft shows

No need to bring anything special, just arrive 5 minutes before class. We’ll have an apron ready for you.

Out come the aprons, clay and tools to get your hands dirty.

Once finished, we will let our creations dry and they will go to the workshop to be kiln fired.

You will make a ceramic planter. Make your own flower pot.

Wendy and her husband Eric are the founders of Taller Gingell. What you’ll learn and what we’ll do.

You will learn about ceramics, different clays and decoration techniques.

Let the fun begin.

Out come the aprons and clay to get your hands dirty. Hands on, you will make and personalise your own ceramic planter.

You’ll learn skills ceramists use when sculpting by hand. After your planter is complete you will learn to texture and add decorations.

No need to bring anything special, we’ll have an apron ready for you.

No prior ceramics experience is necessary.

Your Finished Planter

Ceramics take a bit of time to dry. So we offer two options if you are just visiting Barcelona:

Option 1: About 1 to 2 weeks later your ceramic piece is ready to pick up or mail. Shipping is not included in the workshop price. We ship worldwide via DHL.

Option 2: Just visiting Barcelona, can’t wait a few days? You can leave your planter and select a finished planter made by Taller Gingell to take home as a memory.
