Pick up from your hotel between 4:30 to 5:00 am, heading to Soraypampa (3850 meters above sea level). There we will have a delicious breakfast to start our day well before starting our walk.
We will begin our walk to the Humantay lagoon (4200 meters above sea level) with beautiful views and if the sky is clear enough, we will be able to see the impressive Salkantay and Humantay snow-capped mountains. It's a low to moderate difficulty hike, and more than worth it when you see the magical view. We will have enough time to take photographs, and bring an offering to the Apus. After some free time, we will begin our descent to Soraypampa of approximately 1.5 hours, which is much easier than the way up. Lunch will await us in Soraypampa and after a rest we return to Cusco where we will arrive around 5 p.m.
