Day 1: MARRAKECH - HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - AIT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES VALLEY

After picking you up from your hotel in Marrakesh at 8 am, the 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes will start by driving to the High Atlas Mountains.

We will pass through the Tizi n'Tichka port, where we can make some stops to admire the panoramic views and take pictures of the small Berber villages that blend into the landscape.

Visit the famous fortified ksar of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986).
A large number of films shot in Morocco have used Ait Benhaddou as a location, like Gladiator (2000), The Mummy (1999), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), Babel (2006), and a lot more.
Ait Benhaddou was also used in parts of the TV series Game of Thrones, the Brazilian TV series O Clone, and The Amazing Race Australia 6.

Free time to have lunch in Ouarzazate. Then move on to see the Taourirt kasbah, one of Morocco’s most beautiful ksars.

On our way to Boumaln Dades, we will cross through The Rose Valley, a beautiful place to see more than 700,000 palm trees and a lot of kasbahs in the area. Damascene roses are grown for rosewater in this valley, which is very valuable. The Rose Festival is held here every year in May and is a significant museum for Moroccan history.

Day 2: DADES VALLEY - TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA

After breakfast, we'll begin the day with one of the most breathtaking views of the Dades Valley from a well-placed vantage point in the mountains, where we'll be able to take in many kasbahs and their majestic features.

The breathtaking scenery of the Todra Gorge, also known as Toudgha Gorge locally, which the River Todra carved out of limestone over many centuries. The gorge's over 400-meter-high canyon walls give it an almost prehistoric appearance.

Arrive at the magnificent Merzouga dunes We'll ride camels for an hour to get to our nomadic camp in the middle of a sea of sand. We'll watch the sunset from the top of a dune before dinner and sleep in a tent beneath a starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga - Middle Atlas Mountains - Fes

We will pass through the Draa Valley, an outstanding valley located in Morocco’s desert region.

We will have the opportunity to cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains, one of the finest examples of Morocco’s dramatic volcanic and rocky mountain landscapes.

Finally, arrive in Marrakech after an unforgettable 3-day desert tour. We will drop you off at your riad or another location nearby.
