Overview

Visit to two wine estates of the demarcated region of the Algarve, guided by wine expert, and acquire in-depth knowledge about the every aspect about the world of wine and the process of winemaking. For lunch traditional portuguese food at a typical restaurant in Silves. This historical town, that before was the capital of the moorish kingdom of the Algarve, is located in the countryside, inbetween the coast and the mountains of the region and here we can find a very traditional portuguese and algarvian gastronomy with both ocean and inland influences

    Located north Portimão, already on Silves county. It's an exclusive wine farm production, the one located most north in the region ,right on the beginning of the Monchique Mountains. Owned by a portuguese-french couple that met at Bordeaux, where he was born and grew up surroundend by the influence of wine. They moved in the region at the beginning of the century to start this project from zero. In the slopes of Odelouca River Vlley, they planted their vineyard and built their small but well equiped winery, that also hosts a tasting room, barrels room and laboratory.

    Located on the north border area of Portimão and Alvor. With the big mountain of Monchique, that dominates the view when we are at the vineyards, this large property has also growing areas of cork trees, wheat fields and orange trees. In the family since 1865 and producers of grapes from a long time, this farm built their modern winery in 1999 and were the first producing certified designation of origin wines in the Algarve. In the esplanade, at the shop or at the oak barrels is visible the tradition of this family estate.

Pickup details

Pick-up at clients accomodation included in Portimão and surroundings (Praia da Rocha, Alvor, Ferragudo).

We provide pick-up in a wider area of the Algarve with an extra fee. It can be done by us or partner drivers.

Clients from other areas are also welcome to meet us in Portimão. We give all the indications for the most convinient meeting/picking place for each case, depending of the location of origin, type of transport used or needs of free parking.
