A dedicated photographer captures your session from the beach and in the water — the moment you pop up, the wave you actually rode, the wipeout you will laugh about later. These are not phone snapshots. They are edited action shots taken by someone who knows how to photograph surfing.

Nobody else in Weligama packages professional surf photography with a lesson on Viator. Most tourists spend two weeks in Sri Lanka and come home with photos of temples and elephants. You come home with a shot of yourself surfing on a tropical beach break.

What to expect

Learn to surf in Weligama and take home professional action photos of every wave you catch — the most complete surf experience on Sri Lanka's south coast.

YOUR SESSION
Two hours on Weligama Bay with your certified instructor. Beach briefing first — stance, paddling, wave reading and safety — then straight into the water. Your instructor stays with you throughout, coaching in real time. Most complete beginners are standing up and riding waves by the end of the session.

While you surf, a dedicated photographer captures your best moments from the beach and the water — action shots, wipeouts, the wave you actually rode. Everything is edited and delivered digitally, so you leave with content ready to share.

Surfboard and rash vest included. Sessions at 6:30 AM for the best glassy morning conditions.
