What to expect

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve
  1. Maasai Mara National Reserve
    8h
Pick up from your hotel and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Here you will see the semi active Mt longonot and 2 other dormant volcanic mountains, Mt. Suswa and Mt Margret for 10 mins. You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in the hotel. Later at 4.00 pm depart for a 2 hour game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve until 6.00pm. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at the Camp
Day 2: Full day Maasai Mara
  1. Maasai Mara National Reserve
    8m
Early breakfast at 6.30am and Depart for a full day game viewing. This is the most important day since we are hoping to see the big five, especially the big cats which are extremely illusive. Also we will visit the famous Mara river where the great migration happens, have a guided tour by the rangers to see the Nile crocodiles and hippo families and just to top it off have a picnic lunch under a tree in the park overlooking the vast landscapes.
It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.
Day 3: Maasai Mara to Serengeti via Isebania Border
  1. Serengeti National Park
    8h
Early breakfast at 6;00 a.m and check and exit through the South Gate. Drive to the Isebania border of Tanzania to arrive around midday. Complete the hour-long process to cross the Tanzania border. Meet your Tanzanian driver and start the game drive in Serengeti en route to the accommodation.
Day 4: Full day Serengeti National Reserve
  1. Serengeti National Park
    8h
Breakfast at 7 a.m. Full-day game drive in Serengeti and picnic lunch at 1 p.m., then back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Serengeti National Park (Serengeti) is located in Tanzania, best known for its abundance of animals and the great wildebeest migration. The Serengeti stretches 14,763 (5,700 sq miles) stretching North to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the West. Serengeti has the highest concentration of large mammals on this planet and its famous known for its 2,500 Lions the largest concentration found anywhere. The park also has over 518 identified bird species where some of them are Eurasian migrants who are present in the European winter months from October to April.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
  1. Ngorongoro Conservation Area
    8h
Depart Serengeti at 7 a.m. Game drive en route to Ngorongoro Park with picnic lunch
Day 6: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara
  1. Lake Manyara
    8h · Admission ticket included
Full-day tour of Ngorongoro that begins at 7 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. with picnic lunch.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans vast expanses of highland plains, savanna, savanna woodlands and forests. Established in 1959 as a multiple land use area, with wildlife coexisting with semi-nomadic Maasai pastoralists practicing traditional livestock grazing, it includes the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera. The property has global importance for biodiversity conservation due to the presence of globally threatened species, the density of wildlife inhabiting the area, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles and other animals into the northern plains. Extensive archaeological research has also yielded a long sequence of evidence of human evolution and human-environment dynamics, including early hominid footprints dating back 3.6 million years
Day 7: Lake Manyara to Arusha
  1. Arusha Region
    8h
Early morning half-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park that begins at 7 a.m.
Depart for Arusha and arrive around 4 p.m. Check-in at the Venus premier Hotel for a relaxing dinner. Bed and breakfast are all included.
Day 8: Arusha to Nairobi
  1. 8h · Admission ticket included
Eat breakfast at 6:30 a.m., and then depart for Nairobi with a morning shuttle (shared) that departs at 7 a.m. Arrive around 3 p.m. in Nairobi. Onward drop off to the airport or to the hotel within Nairobi.
