   Arrive on Saturday or earlier to soak in the sights at your own pace. Whether you’re exploring the city’s historical sites, relaxing in its parks, or savoring local delicacies, take the time to enjoy the beauty and energy that make this metropolis one of a kind.
   
   On Saturday evening, meet your group and Tour Leader for an informational meeting, where you’ll receive important details about the trip ahead. Following the meeting, enjoy a welcome dinner to kick off your adventure. For those interested, there will also be an optional get-together to connect with the rest of the group and get to know your fellow travelers better.

Day 2: Mexico City

   Join your Tour Leader and begin your Chiapas Tour with a walking tour around the UNESCO-listed historic center of Mexico City. Explore the heart of the city, where ancient history meets modern life at landmarks such as the Zócalo, Metropolitan Cathedral, and National Palace.
   
   Next, visit the National Museum of Anthropology, one of the most important museums in Mexico. Discover the country’s rich history, exploring civilizations like the Aztecs and Mayans through engaging exhibits and artifacts.
   
   Afterward, choose your next activity. Explore local markets, enjoy traditional Mexican cuisine, or relax in one of the city’s parks, with recommendations from your Tour Leader.
   
   In the evening, opt for a group dinner at a local restaurant, meet fellow travelers, and enjoy the city’s lively atmosphere.

Day 3: Mexico City - Teotihuacan - Puebla

   In the morning, head to UNESCO-listed Teotihuacan, one of the most awe-inspiring archaeological sites in Mexico. Set in a mountain-ringed valley near Mexico City, Teotihuacan was once the largest ancient city in the country and the center of a powerful pre-Hispanic empire. Explore the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, admire their scale, and walk along the Avenue of the Dead as you uncover the history of this ancient metropolis.
   
   After a guided walk and lunch in Teotihuacan, continue to Puebla, a city that blends colonial charm with modern energy. Puebla has preserved its beautiful historic center and stunning cathedral while embracing a lively cultural scene. Stroll through the heart of the city, discovering churches, museums, and the unique architecture that earned Puebla its UNESCO status.

Day 4: Puebla - Tehuacan-Cuicatlan Biosphere Reserve - Oaxaca

Day 5: Oaxaca - Monte Alban - Hierve el Agua - Mitla

   Afterward, transfer to the nearby Magical Town of Mitla, known for its history and colonial architecture. Day 6: Mitla - Puerto Arista

   Once you’ve arrived, ride an ATV to experience the beach from a thrilling perspective, and then enjoy the breathtaking sunset as it paints the sky in vibrant colors. This is a perfect moment to capture the beauty of the coastline and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
   
   Afterward, join an optional dinner with your group at one of the local restaurants, where you can indulge in the region’s delicious seafood and share stories from your day. It’s the perfect way to end a relaxing and adventurous day by the sea.

Day 7: Puerto Arista - Sumidero Canyon - Chiapa de Corzo

   In the morning, enjoy the sea and sun before heading to Sumidero Canyon for a boat trip that takes you through one of the most awe-inspiring natural landscapes in Mexico. As you cruise through the canyon, take in the stunning waterfalls, mystical caves, and dramatic cliffs, including the spot where the Chiapanec Warriors committed suicide rather than surrender to the Spanish Conquistadors.
   
   After the boat trip, continue to Chiapa de Corzo, one of the most picturesque towns in Chiapas. Known for its warm, welcoming people and colorful Renaissance architecture, this town is a true cultural gem. If you’re visiting in January, you’ll have the chance to experience the Fiesta Grande, a vibrant and traditional celebration that has been declared a UNESCO Intangible Heritage.

The town offers an insightful glimpse into the region’s culture and spirituality, with rituals and customs that differ from mainstream Mexican traditions.
   
   In the evening, arrive in San Cristobal de las Casas, a charming colonial city nestled in a gorgeous highland valley surrounded by pine forests. This city, popular with travelers for decades, offers a rich cultural experience, blending history, art, and indigenous heritage. Check in to your accommodation and join an orientation walk to discover the town’s beauty. In the evening, enjoy an optional dinner followed by a get-together with the group to share the day’s adventures.

Day 9: San Cristóbal de las Casas - Tuxtla Gutierrez

   On the last day of our tour, enjoy a delicious breakfast before being transferred to the local bus station. From there, take a comfortable intercity bus to Tuxtla Gutierrez (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes). Once in Tuxtla, you’ll have the option to explore some of the city’s attractions or take a taxi directly to the Tuxtla Gutierrez International Airport (about 30-40 minutes) for your departure.

If you’d like to visit a place not included in the default itinerary, we may add it at no extra cost if it fits within the tour duration and does not require a major route change or additional costs. In this case, we can shorten the time spent at another scheduled stop. Other changes, such as extending the tour, significantly changing the route, or adding extra participants, must be requested before the tour and may involve an additional fee.

• ROOM TYPES: Due to the platform’s technical limitations, it is not possible to book different accommodation types in the same booking.
