What to expect

Assistance with permits available and last minute* - requested via email
Enjoy a roundtrip transfer from Funchal to Pico do Arieiro and from Achada do Teixeiraback to the accommodation. Get picked up at your accommodation in Funchal and dropped off at the entrance to Pico do Arieiro to begin your self-guided hike.
The day before the hike, get the exact pickup time and a weather forecast to get ready for your transfer.

• From the city to Pico do Arieiro: average 1.5 hour (including pick ups)
• From Achada do Teixeira: average 1.5 hour (including drop offs)
