   Experience an exhilarating adventure at Schotia Safaris, the oldest private game reserve in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, nestled on the eastern side of Addo Elephant National Park. This malaria-free reserve is renowned for its dense wildlife population, featuring over 40 mammal species and approximately 2,000 animals, ensuring exceptional game viewing all year round.
   
   Embark on the exclusive Schotia Tooth & Claw Safari, a guided game drive in an open 4×4 vehicle that takes you as close as possible to the best viewing spots of the Big 5—Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, and Leopard—along with Giraffes, Hippos, and more. Schotia was the first reserve in the Cape Province to have free-roaming lions, and sightings of these majestic animals are almost guaranteed.

When participating in an open 4x4 safari, it's important to be prepared for a range of weather conditions, including wind, cold, heat, dust, rain, and bumpy roads.
Although we strive to ensure your comfort, certain aspects remain beyond our control.
Transfers also occur in these open vehicles.
All open 4x4 safari vehicle's have canvas side covers that will be closed during transfer for a more comfortable ride.
Guests need to dress appropriately for the anticipated weather conditions to ensure a comfortable experience during the safari.
This policy indicates that during a safari, in the event of bad weather, such as heavy rain, the tour will continue as long as at least one participant wishes to proceed.
To end the safari early and return, all participants must collectively agree to do so.
Note that there won't be any refunds if the safari is cut short due to participant requests to cut safari short.
