Overview
This tour is the perfect complement to the most popular tours, whether you're visiting Madeira for the first time or countless times.
Our itinerary is intended to take us away from the crowds by utilizing old and secondary roads that offer beautiful and unique views. Including ascending into the mountains up to 1.241 meters and then an off-road to sea level.
The selected villages will be between Ponta do Sol and Ponta do Pargo. The westernmost part of the Island and the passage through some villages such as Fajã da Ovelha, Paúl do Mar and Calheta will be the highlights of our 4x4 tour.

Ponta Do Sol

Our plan is start by driving to Ponta do Sol, using motorway without stop at this location, getting to Arco da Calheta by going through Canhas.

we will arrive at a viewpoint to have a panoramic view of Madalena do Mar and calheta.
Prazeres

We´ll continue exploring the places until reach Prazeres, where we´ll begin driving up to the mountains.
Ribeira Da Vaca

The mountainous landscapes often cause us to ascend to 1.241 meters and then descend to almost sea level. Our destination will be a viewpoint offering a stunning view of the sea and mountains surrounding us

Paul do Mar

- We'll be traveling through villages and agricultural areas via secondary roads, always with a stunning view of the mountains and sea. After using some old tunnels, we'll arrive at Paul Do Mar.
Calheta

As our final stop, we can visit the sugarcane museum before starting our return to Funchal, which will take approximately 50 minutes.
