Overview

Our first stop is the breathtaking Corinth Canal, a 19th-century engineering feat that connects the Aegean and Ionian Seas. This narrow waterway, carved through solid rock, is an impressive sight and an ideal place for stunning photos. After taking in the views, we continue on a delightful wine tour to Nemea, Greece’s most famous wine region, known for its rich vineyards and legendary Agiorgitiko red wine. Visit two renowned wineries, where you will explore lush vineyards, learn about the winemaking process, and enjoy tastings of exquisite local varieties. Stroll through the cellars, discover the region’s unique terroir, and savor the distinct flavors of Nemea’s award-winning wines. Immerse yourself in the history and tradition of Greek viticulture while enjoying breathtaking views of the rolling hills. A perfect experience for wine lovers seeking an authentic taste of Greece’s finest wines.

What to expect

  1. Corinth Canal
    20m
We first go to the Isthmus of Corinth, a narrow piece of land connecting mainland Greece and the Peloponnese. There we see the manmade canal which connects the Corinthian and the Saronic Gulfs. The canal was finished in 1893, but its history dates to as early as 602 BC. It has a length of over 6km, and its sides are 78m tall at the highest point. There are bridges across the canal for cars and people to pass, and which sink up to 12m underwater to let boats through.
  2. Nemea
