Experience the beauty of entering the world of traditional printing, using ancient wooden type and manual presses in our artisan workshop at Campo Santa Maria Mater Domini, in the heart of Venice. And after the course, usually lasting at least two hours, you’ll have your creation ready, printed on the exquisite Fabriano Rosaspina paper.
Michele Costantini and Luca Valonta, experts in printing for decades, will reveal the secrets of typography.
They will share insights on graphic design and layout while working on traditional Heidelberg printing presses, producing posters, letterheads, postcards, and ex libris.
Their passion for promoting and preserving local artists is evident in every creation.
An opportunity to discover the timeless technique of movable type composition and printing, a craft that has stood the test of centuries.
