6. Temple of Hatshepsut

   The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut dates from the 18th Dynasty and is the best-preserved temple on the west bank of the Nile in Thebes. Its idiosyncratic architecture is striking. The entire temple was constructed of limestone and was built within 15 years.
   
   In the afternoon we start our journey home and take you back to your hotel in Hurghada.

   The Colossi of Memnon are two ancient Egyptian colossal statues standing next to each other from the 14th century BC. The quartzite statues are badly damaged. They represent King Amenhotep III. depicts Pharaoh Amenhotep III. ruled the ancient Egyptian New Kingdom in the first half of the 14th century BC. The statues were erected in 1379 BC.
