This full-day adventure combines two of Sri Lanka’s most exciting experiences in a single, seamless package. Begin your morning on the Kalpitiya Lagoon, one of Asia’s top kitesurfing destinations, where steady winds and shallow waters provide the perfect setting for beginners. A certified instructor will provide a full safety briefing and guide you through a 2–3 hour introductory kitesurfing session, with all equipment provided.
After your watersports adventure, relax during a private transfer to Wilpattu National Park. Upon arrival, board a private 4x4 jeep with an experienced naturalist driver for an afternoon safari. The journey explores Wilpattu’s lakes, forest, and grasslands, with opportunities to observe elephants, spotted deer, exotic birdlife, and with luck, the elusive Sri Lankan leopard. All wildlife is observed from the safety of the vehicle, following national park regulations and respecting the animals’ natural behavior.
The day concludes with a comfortable return transfer to Kalpitiya. This one-day experience is ideal for travelers who want to maximize their time by combining sport, nature, and culture into a single adventure.
