Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King

In the morning, set out with your guide from your hotel at 8:30am, and take a private car to the Museum of the Tomb of the Nanyue King. Excavated in 1983, this tomb dates back to the Western Han period and reveals the 2,200-year-long history of Guangzhou. Tour the exhibition hall, which houses a wealth of relics excavated from the tomb and the city itself. Note: Museum of Nanyue King Tomb closes on Mondays, Chen Clan Temple closes on Tuesday. Chen Clan Ancestral Hall

Then you will move to visit the Yuexiu Park where there is a landmark of Guangzhou, the Five-Ram Statue.Your next stop is the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, an academic temple built during the Qing Dynasty by the 72 Chen clans to house clansmen preparing for their imperial examinations. As you explore the complex, discover traditional Canton architecture, and get a close look at the rich carvings, pottery, and engravings that adorn nearly every square inch.
