5-Day Tour: Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain

Day 1: Welcome to Cusco | Pick up at Cusco airport

   Upon arrival at the Cusco airport, our FLY CUSCO PERU Travel Agency guide will receive you and transfer you to your hotel in our private transportation. After check-in, our guide will brief you and verify details about the next day's activities and answer any questions you may have. The rest of the day is all yours at leisure.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour | train to Machu Picchu

   7 : 45 AM. After breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, our guide will pick you up from your accommodation to start your trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Enjoy its Andean landscapes, welcoming people and amazing archaeological sites that make this tour an unforgettable experience.
2. Chinchero

   8 : 30 AM. After an hour's drive from Cusco, we arrived in the charming village of Chinchero. We will visit a local family that keeps alive the traditions of the Andean fabric. You can get to know their alpacas and llamas, feed them, take photos and discover the ancient natural dyeing techniques with which they create their colorful hand-woven fabrics.
3. Maras Moray Tours

   9 : 30 AM. Admire Moray’s impressive circular terraces, surrounded by the majestic Andes. Your guide will reveal how the Incas experimented with different microclimates to grow their food. A fascinating place that combines engineering, history and natural beauty.
4. Salinas de Maras

   11 : 00 AM. We will observe the thousands of salt ponds of Maras, which continue in use since Inca times. This place offers one of the most representative views of the Sacred Valley, our guide will be happy to capture this moment for you. Afterwards, we will continue the tour to enjoy a traditional lunch.
5. Urubamba

   12:00 PM. You will enjoy a buffet lunch in one of the best restaurants in the Sacred Valley, with more than 50 options of Peruvian cuisine, among salads, soups, main dishes and typical desserts. Vegetarian options are also offered.
6. Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo

   14: 10 PM. We will visit the terraces and ruins of Ollantaytambo, an important military, religious and agricultural center that protected the entrance to the road to Machu Picchu. This place was the scene of significant events during the Spanish invasion.
   At the end of the visit, we will go to the train station to board the selected service (regular train, panoramic or observatory, depending on your reservation). During the journey of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, you can enjoy spectacular Andean landscapes and the Urubamba River, towards Aguas Calientes.
7. Aguas Calientes

   18 :00 Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (village of Machu Picchu), our staff will be waiting for you at the departure of the train station to transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you will have the afternoon free to rest or tour the town on your own.

Day 3: Machu Picchu in the morning | Return to Cusco in the afternoon

   07 :00 After breakfast at the hotel, we will head with our guide to the bus station, which will take us to the main gate of the Machu Picchu Historical Shrine.
   We will start a guided tour of the main areas of the Inca citadel, touring its squares, temples and steps of finely carved stone. During the tour, your guide will share the historical and spiritual aspects that make Machu Picchu one of the seven wonders of the modern world.
   At the end of the guided tour, you will have free time to explore the site on your own and enjoy the surroundings.
   Afterwards, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch (lunch not included).
   14 :00 At the right time, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo station, again enjoying the stunning landscapes of the valley.
2. Cusco

   Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo train station, our transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
   Estimated arrival time: 18:00 h.

Day 4: Rainbow Mountain Tour (Vinincunca)

   We will pick you up from your hotel between 4:30 AM. In our tourist transport, and then we will move for about 2 hours south, on the route we will pass through traditional villages and have an incredible view of the Peruvian Andes.
2. Cusipata

   We will arrive at Cusipata, where our restaurant awaits us, where we will enjoy a delicious Buffet breakfast, it is time to recharge our batteries and then start the adventure.
3. Vinicunca Mountain

   We will arrive at the starting point of the trek, our guide will give you instructions and recommendations for the route to enjoy this fantastic experience, we will start the trek from Pampa chiri at an altitude of 3,700 m. An uphill walk of 1.5 hours awaits us to reach the famous Rainbow Mountain. On the way, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an incredible view, glacial peaks, red mountains, rocky hills, traditional llamas and alpacas that graze all over the valley. Once we reach the top, a breathtaking view of the majestic Vinicunca Mountain and the top of the Ausangate Glacier will amaze you. You will have enough time to take beautiful photographic shots, our guide will inform you about the composition of these mountains and how they were striated in the rainbow of colors, then we will descend on a downhill hike, until we reach our transport.
4. Cusipata

   We will go to the restaurant where a delicious fresh and hot lunch will be ready for us. We will regain strength and have time to interact with the locals. We will board our transport to return to Cusco. We will arrive around 4 p.m. to the city, after a fantastic day

Day 5: Departure from Cusco | Airport transfer
