A spectacular sight and a must see. Let's discover St. George where our settlement began over 400 years ago. Join us on a short history tour or grab a quick lunch before your 2 hour swim at St. George's most popular beach, Tobacco Bay, also a great place to snorkel (equipment for rent). Beach amenities: Bar, Restaurant, Restrooms, chairs & umbrellas for rent. Keep in mind, you can always by-past the Tour and go directly to the Beach if you wish.
All Cave appointments/bookings are made by us. ENTRANCE FEES ARE INCLUDED. Please note: you must put on your dry clothes to get back on the bus.

Tobacco Bay Beach is a great place for swimming & snorkelling (can rent equipment from the each). Amenities there include: a Bar, Fast Food Restaurant, Bathroom facilities, chairs & umbrellas for rent. Keep in mind that you can always by-past the Tour and go directly to the Beach if you wish.

Some History: Tobacco Bay played an important role in the American war for independence through the infamous Gunpowder Plot of 1775. On the night of August 15th, 1775 a group of Bermudians, sympathetic to the American cause led by Colonel Henry Tucker, stole 100 barrels of gunpowder from the British Powder Magazine. The barrels were rolled down a hill to Tobacco Bay, Bermudian whaling vessels transported the cargo onto two American schooners waiting nearby, the Lady Catherine and the Packet.
