Overview
This private experience takes you beyond the typical day trips from Amman into the lush, green highlands of northern Jordan—an often-overlooked side of the country that contrasts beautifully with its desert landscapes.
You’ll explore the impressive Ajloun Castle, a 12th-century stronghold, where history comes alive through its towers, passageways, and sweeping views. But what truly sets this tour apart is the depth and variety of sites you’ll visit beyond the castle.
From the peaceful hilltop ruins of Tell Mar Elias—linked to the Prophet Elijah—to lesser-known stops like the Jesus Cave and a traditional village mosque, this journey blends history, spirituality, and local culture in a way few tours do.
The highlight continues at Pella, one of Jordan’s most ancient and continuously inhabited sites. Here, you’ll walk through thousands of years of history in a tranquil setting far from the crowds, discovering Roman, Byzantine, and earlier remains at your own pace.

Walk through its halls, towers, and passageways while learning about its strategic design and layered history, including later Mamluk enhancements. A small on-site museum showcases artifacts from the region, and a short walk around the outer walls offers beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
