Approximately 15 minutes of instruction are provided on proper use of equipment and then we will begin the snorkel tour. Swimming skills are helpful and you will be provided with a flotation device if you like.
This 90-Minute Guided Atlantic Ocean Reef Tour experience is located in Lauderdale by the Sea. First you'll meet on the beach where an Instructor will provide you with everything you need on this guided tour, including a mask, snorkel, fins and flotation device to assist with moving around the ocean, some swimming skills are required. After familiarizing yourself with the equipment and going over a short safety briefing you'll head into the water where you'll venture off to the reef in a small group with your guide.
Our guides will take you on a reef tour where you will see a great variety of sea life including Angelfish, Parrot fish, Sergeant Major Fish, Hog fish, Sea Turtles, Corals, Nurse Sharks and more.
We will meet directly on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean to the right of the pier. There is a path next to Pier 14 Restaurant that goes right to the meeting spot. There is pay parking, showers, and bathrooms. If you are more than 15 minutes late the tour most likely will have already started.
