Do like the locals do and escape the city for a day, venturing west to the historic Belém district and then to Cascais, the local's favourite seaside playground. Combining art, history, beaches and some of the most delicious food in Lisbon, there's nothing not to love about this experience! Take the tram to Belém, a beautiful area in the south west of the city which pays homage to Portugal's Age of Discovery and is where you can taste the original Pastéis de Belém.
