Overview

Experience Hakone through the eyes of a Local Host on a private day trip shaped around your interests rather than a fixed sightseeing itinerary. From peaceful lakes and historic shrines to volcanic landscapes, scenic transport, and traditional towns, every moment is tailored to what matters most to you.

Hakone changes with the seasons, and factors such as weather, transportation schedules, and visitor numbers all influence the experience. Rather than following a predetermined route, your Local Host will adapt the day as it unfolds, recommending the best transport options, helping you avoid unnecessary queues, and making the most of every opportunity along the way.

After booking, you'll complete an online Personalization Form, allowing your Host to create an itinerary based on your travel style and priorities. If conditions are favorable, your host will happily include viewpoints where Mount Fuji may be visible, but sightings can never be guaranteed and always depend on the weather.
