Overview
We are truly blessed with a natural wonder sculpted over millions of years: the mesmerizing Gaitanes Gorge.
The inception of this "trail" dates back to the 20th century What they ingeniously crafted is a pathway that's a mere 1 meter wide and extends for 3 kilometers, soaring an incredible 100 meters above the ground!
A few years later, during the inauguration of the Dam by the esteemed King Alfonso XIII, he traversed this extraordinary route and bestowed upon it the name it carries proudly to this day: "El Caminito del Rey."
Only 1 hour separate Malaga from El Chorro, the town where our adventure begins. The route itself is short and free of difficulties, spanning 3 kilometers of entirely flat terrain. However, the true allure lies in its extraordinary location, with sections suspended more than 100 meters above the river.
Prepare to meander along dizzying walkways, traverse the reservoir on towering bridges, and savor breathtaking views from precipitous lookout points.

Your driver will drop you off at the closest point to the main access, as it is a one-way dirt road and perfectly signposted. After about 10 minutes, you will find the main access.
Completing the Caminito del Rey can take about 2,5-3h. You can do it at your own pace. The driver will be waiting for you at the point where it ends.
You can have 1,5-2h of free time to rest or have lunch before returning to Seville.
