Day 1: Let the safari adventure begin!

   After we have picked you up from the airport, you will spend the night at Africa Safari Arusha. Arusha is the tourism capital of Tanzania and the perfect place to start your safari adventure.

Day 2: Explore the home of Mount Meru, Alkaline Lakes and many birdlife.

1. Arusha National Park

   Enjoy a game drive in Arusha National Park. It is one of the smaller national parks but it has so much to offer. Get to spot bird species that are only found in this national park.

Day 3: Baobab trees and the highest density of Elephant population found in Tanzania

1. Tarangire National Park

   Explore Tarangire National Park, the National Park that has the highest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti National Park. It is also called the ¨home of the elephants¨.

Day 4: Admire the beautiful environment and wildlife surrounded by Lake Manyara

1. Lake Manyara National Park

   Explore the large ecological variety of Lake Manyara National Park during a full-day game drive and get the chance to spot the unique famous tree-climbing lions.

Day 5: Visit the Hadzabe and Datoga Tribe, and learn everything about their way of living!

   Optional activity: Visit the Hadzabe & Datoga Tribe at Lake Eyasi. The Hadzabe tribe are the last true hunters and gatherers tribe. The Datoga tribe are herders and true blacksmiths.

   After the optional activity or if you prefer not to partake in the optional activity to visit the tribes, this day can also be used to relax at Africa Safari Karatu, preparing for the continuation of your safari adventure.

Day 6: Amazing views and a Game Drive!

   Admire the amazing view of the Ngorongoro Crater at the Ngorongoro rim. Enjoy an afternoon Safari Game Drive while on your way to Lake Ndutu.

Day 7: Admire the endless plains of the Serengeti

   Enjoy a full-day game drive in the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is host to the annual Wildebeest migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Keep your camera handy for the many wildlife and beautiful landscapes.

Day 8: Explore the Ngorongoro Pololeti Game Reserve

   Driving through the Pololeti Game Reserve will allow you to observe a variety of species, including lions hunting, elephants roaming, buffalo grazing, galloping antelope, and more.

Day 9: Admire the beauty of South Serengeti

   When travelling to Africa Safari South Serengeti, where you will spend the night, have a second game drive through the Serengeti. Take in the peace and quiet of this stunning setting.

Day 10: Discover the Big 5 when you visit the 8th World Wonder!

   The largest complete volcanic crater in the world is the Ngorongoro Crater, which you can explore on a full-day game drive. Due to the natural rims of the crater, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area that is home to the Big Five, including the African black rhino, as well as hyenas, zebras and elephants, to name a few.

Day 11: Your safari journey has come to an end..

   Today your driver guide will take you back to the airport where you will depart Tanzania with a camera full of photos and a mind full of priceless memories!

Pickup details

When arriving at the airport, our driver guide will be awaiting you with a sign board with your name written on it. You can recognize our safari vehicles by the Beach & Safari Holidays logo.
