   Built in 1670, Fujairah Fort was badly damaged by a British attack in the early 20th century. Considered the oldest fort in the United Arab Emirates, it has served previously as both a defensive building and a home for the ruling family. For many centuries, it was the only stone building along the Fujairah coast.

   One of the most famous markets in Fujairah is the Friday Market, known as Souq al Juma to the locals, which is held on the road by Masafi. Originally held every Friday, the market has become so popular that it's now on every day
4. Sheikh Zayed Mosque - Fujairah

   The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one the world's largest mosques and a massive architectural work of art that intentionally blends different Islamic architectural schools. It features 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, 24-carat-gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand-knotted carpet.
