Day 1: Archeological Area in Syracuse incl. Ortygia & Baroque Town Noto

Meet your Driver Guide and start the day on board of a Premium Mercedes vehicle for SYRACUSE to visit the archeological area. The Greek capital of Sicily contending with Athens, as testified by its theatre and ancient vestiges that lie in a splendid natural scenery enhanced by the light and beauty of its coast.

Next discover ORTYGIA, the old city center. It is the most illustrious ad fascinating district of Syracuse, and presents a coherent and harmonious medieval road network. Several buildings still retain the vestiges of a past. The most important centre in the district is the Cathedral Square, onto whose axis the most notable civil and religious buildings converge.

Finally drive to NOTO, it represents for the colors and the architectural features a southern twist on this impressive baroque style. One off the most beautiful palaces in town is Nicolaci-Villadorata Palace, located on the most stimulating street of the city, which has the Church of Montevergine as its scenographic backdrop. Back to Catania in the afternoon.
Day 2: Mount Etna & Taormina

After pick up by your driver drive towards ETNA the biggest and most active volcano of Europe. Reach the altitude of 6500 feet. Soak up the atmosphere of the volcano as you walk at the nearby Silvestri Craters. Possibility to reach 9800 feet by cable car (not included).
Taormina

Next visit TAORMINA, the pearl of the Ionian Sea. Lying on the slopes of Mount Taurus, the ancient Tauromenium of antiquity, enjoys a highly picturesque landscape for its wealth of panoramas and the intensity of its colors. The Greek Theater which looks onto a splendid gulf opening below is the most outstanding monument in Taormina for its artistic value and landscape setting. Enjoy this lovely town including the Greek Theatre which has inspired generations of travelers and artists. Back to Catania.
