Leaving Athens (from the pick-up point that you specify) our journey begins via the National Road to Delphi. On our way to Delphi we shall pass through the city of Thebes, where we shall visit the city's modern archaeological museum.
From Thebes we head for the picturesque village of Arachova where we shall make a short stop for photos.
From there we travel down to Delphi which in ancient times was known as the navel of the earth. In Delphi we shall visit the Temple of Apollo and the Delphi Museum.
The Delphi Museum houses impressive ancient finds, such as the Charioteer of Delphi statue, the Sphinx of Naxos and the statue of Antinous. Following the visit to the archaeological site, you may have a meal or a coffee before starting our return trip.
On our way to Athens, we will again pass through the village of Arachova to take in the magnificent views, as the village is built on the southern slopes of Mount Parnassus. From there, if you wish, you can buy hand-woven rugs or blankets, handmade pasta or the village's famous cheese.
We return to Athens late in the afternoon, where your driver shall return you to the pickup point or any other point you wish on the return route.
