Track down a stolen formula in Kiel on this self-guided outdoor escape game, a hunt on foot that turns the old centre into your playing field. Your team crosses Alter Markt and works its way through to Nikolaikirche, cracking codes, solving riddles and setting up photo tasks along the way.
The game takes about 2 hours and you play at your own pace. A team is 2 to 5 people sharing one phone, and every player gets a character with their own role in the mission, so the phone passes from hand to hand. Larger groups start more than one team and can race each other. Choose a start date and time when booking, then begin whenever it suits you - there is no guide walking ahead of you and no fixed departure. A smartphone with an internet connection is required. Your mission starts at Alter Markt.
After booking, you receive an email with your instructions and game link. Download the free Loquiz app before you set off, head to the start location and open the link to begin.
Head toward the established meeting point, the Alter Markt in Kiel, and start the game with the app. The app will guide you from here. It does not matter where you exactly are at the starting location. You don't have to enter any buildings.
