Set out from Costa Rica’s northern Pacific coast on a private fishing trip shaped around your group.

Your captain will choose the fishing grounds based on sea conditions and the length of your booking, giving you more time with a line in the water.

Inshore fishing stays within approximately 3 miles of the beach and can target species such as Roosterfish, Snapper, Jacks, Mackerel and other coastal game fish.

Offshore fishing takes you into deeper Pacific waters, where you may target Mahi-Mahi (Dorado), Tuna, Wahoo and Billfish, depending on the season, sea conditions and current fishing activity.

Land a suitable fish and watch the crew prepare fresh sashimi right in front of you. You may also bring your catch back to the resort, where the chef can prepare it to your liking, subject to the resort’s arrangements.

What to expect

    Explore the fishing waters of Santa Elena Bay, south of El Jobo and north of Santa Rosa National Park.

    Travel by boat with your captain, who will choose where to fish based on sea conditions, the length of your trip and the day's opportunities.

    Depending on your booking, you may fish closer to shore or head farther out.

    You'll spend your time on the water fishing and enjoying views of the Guanacaste coastline.

    Fishing locations and catches vary from trip to trip.

    Fish in the waters around Bahia Salinas, north of El Jobo and south of the Nicaraguan coastline.

    Your captain will choose the fishing location based on sea conditions and the duration of your booked trip.

    You may stay closer to the coast or travel farther out, so the route and fishing spots can vary from one trip to another.
