What to expect

Starting at Piazza I Maggio, 33100 Udine UD, Italy, open the Explorial app and enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message. Your adventure through Udine's historic streets begins immediately.

The first clue leads you to the Casa Veneziana, a graceful Venetian-style house that speaks to the centuries when the Most Serene Republic held sway over this corner of Friuli.

From there the app takes you to the Porta Manin, one of Udine's old city gates — still standing as a reminder of the walls that once enclosed this prosperous merchant city.

Your final landmark is the Ex Chiesa di San Francesco, a former church now reimagined as a cultural space, where medieval stonework meets contemporary purpose.

Plan for around 2 hours and wear comfortable shoes. The game saves your progress, so feel free to stop for a coffee — this is Italy, after all.
